The C6 Graphene card, from C6 Bank, stands out in the Black category by offering 4.5 points per dollar spent and an annual fee of R$ 3,960. Additionally, it provides unlimited access to the Dragon Pass, LoungeKey, and Mastercard Black lounges, which increases its appeal to customers who value exclusive benefits programs.

In the case of Nubank, the Ultravioleta card offers 2.2 points per dollar or 1.25% cashback, with an annual fee set at R$ 1,068. Still, the Ultravioleta offers four annual accesses to Priority Pass VIP lounges and generates qualifying Latam miles at the rate of one mile for every four accumulated, which differentiates the product in the segment.

In BTG Pactual’s portfolio, the Ultrablue accumulates 3.5 points per dollar or 1.7% cashback, with an annual fee of R$ 4,800 charged. It guarantees unlimited access to VIP lounges via LoungeKey, allowing the cardholder to bring up to 12 guests. Meanwhile, the BTG Pactual Black offers 2.2 points per dollar or 1% cashback, with a more accessible annual fee of R$ 1,320, and exemption for customers who spend more than R$ 14,000 per month or invest at least R$ 120,000.

Inter Bank offers the Win card, intended for customers with investments over R$ 1 million, which has no annual fee. Inter Prime features six annual accesses to Priority Pass, in addition to unlimited access to Mastercard and Inter brand lounges. The card also allows up to six additional cards at no cost.

Other cards from C6 Bank also have relevant differentiators. The Carbon offers transferable points, an annual fee of R$ 1,176 and up to four annual accesses to Dragon Pass lounges for customers who do not meet spending targets. The C6 Black, with an annual fee of R$ 600, grants unlimited access to the Mastercard Black lounge and allows up to ten additional cards at no cost, a feature also available for the Carbon.

The BTG Pactual TAP Black, the only co-branded card on the list, accumulates up to four miles per dollar spent and offers miles without expiration. This card linked to the TAP Miles&GO program stands out for those seeking to accumulate air miles with exclusive benefits.

To reduce costs, some digital banks waive the annual fee under specific conditions. Nubank, for example, waives the annual fee for customers who spend more than R$ 8,000 monthly or have investments exceeding R$ 50,000. Meanwhile, BTG Pactual Ultrablue grants exemption for those investing R$ 400,000, while BTG Black requires a minimum monthly spend for such benefit.

Overall, the Black cards of digital banks show significant variations in points per dollar, cashback, annual fee values, and access to benefits, reflecting different strategies to attract varied customer profiles. The conclusion of the process still depends on the public’s analysis of cost-benefit and personal choices regarding loyalty programs and VIP lounge access.
